AIV, a Houston, Texas, USA-based Master Distributor of industrial valves has recently relocated and expanded AIV Canada, its Edmonton-based branch. While the actual location of the warehouse and distribution operation changed by only 10 blocks, the impact on the business and its customers will be positive and substantial.

AIV Canada opened in the summer of 2010, but by the close of 2012 the branch had already reached many of the projections of their initial 5-year plan and was in need of expanding their personnel, office and warehouse space. After a thorough search of the surrounding areas, they acquired a 60,0000 sq. ft. space at #22, 3250-51 Avenue in NW Edmonton. Not only does the new location provide the necessary space to add personnel and increase their inventory of currently stocked items, but allows them to add additional product lines as well.

In addition, the larger space has allowed AIV Canada to open an in-house branch of Gulf Coast Modification - GCM Canada. As in its US-based locations, the on-site GCM facility now allows AIV Canada to offer its customers a wide range of valve modification services.

Founded in 1991 as a supplier of hard-to-find, exotic alloy valves, AIV is a premier master distributor for the chemical, oilfield, petrochemical, pulp and paper, refining, power and water treatment industries. The company services supply houses only, and currently boasts several distribution locations in the US, as well as Canada, The UK, the Middle East and Asia.
